Philodendrons enjoy a high air humidity, so make sure to give the leaves of your McColley’s Finale a good misting every now and then. This also helps wash off any dust on leaves, which helps the plant to breathe better as well as prevent diseases. The Philodendron enjoy a rather moist soil, however it shouldn’t remain wet for too long as this can cause root rot. Yellow or brown leaves are an indication of too much or too little water, but can also indicate a lack or surplus of light. The plant enjoys both a spot in a brighter area as well as a shady place as long as it still receives sufficient light, without any direct sunlight hitting its leaves. The baby plant arrived already showing tons of color variation in the leaves! The bottom leaves are green and there's a beautiful gradient between them all.
