The baby Musa Dwarf is the smallest banana plant you have ever seen, but give her a bit of time and she might surprise you as she grows towards adulthood and starts to take up some serious space! Banana palms are quintessentially tropical plants and, like her relatives on the equator, Musa Dwarf really loves warmth. But be sure to keep a close eye on her moisture balance, because warm environments cause water to evaporate quickly, especially from small pots.
The Musa Dwarf is a truly tropical plant, so give this little banana plant a nice warm spot in your home ideally near a window- she is a real sun worshipper! She needs plenty of moist soil to stay healthy, but it’s important not make the soil wet, or her roots will start to rot. ‘Little and often’ is the best way to do it! And beware- Musas grow fast

January 17, 2021The plant looks like the photo, but I think because of the cold weather (it was well below freezing the day it arrived), it got a bit stressed. I have it under a grow light now and it's getting some love and care! These grow fast so I'm hopeful it will recover.
