The Calathea Medallion (Baby) definitely deserves a medal for her beauty. As Calatheas are known for their eye-catching leaves, the Calathea Medallion surely ranks high. You can recognise this pretty baby by her deep green leaves with brushstrokes of bright fuchsia tones. As she grows her pattern will change in a wonderful way too, which really makes it worth to see her grow up!
The Calathea Medallion can be a bit of a diva! She doesn’t like to receive a lot of water at once, instead it’s better to give her a bit of water twice a week. This way her soil stays moist and her roots don’t get too wet. You can give her some organic PLNTS nutrition once every two weeks to help her grow. At the end of the day this sleeping beauty likes to close up her leaves, only to unfold them again at dawn. The Calathea Medallion helps filter the air and is safe for children and pets.

It has been 17 days since I ordered this plants, I have to admit I am in love. The new leaf unfurled and just really shows how gorgeous the Madalion Calathea can be. When I received her I was so scared she was a Dottie (Which I also have one of), so when it unfurled I was beyond happy. Highly recommend getting this baby if you are into Calatheas.

Your order will be hand picked and packed in our strong and sustainable packaging as soon as possible, after which it will be delivered straight from our greenhouse to your door by your chosen carrier. You can follow the journey of your plants via the tracking link you receive in your mail. We expect every order to arrive in tip-top shape. We take intensive care of the plants in our greenhouse and use special and as sustainable as possible protective packaging to ship our plants. We also wrote an extensive blog about how to unpack and prepare your plants for growth after shipping. However there are rare occasions where our plants don’t meet their full potential. That’s why all plants are guaranteed for 30 days after arrival, if still in its original nursery pot.
