Don't be afraid of the Rattlesnake plant! The Calathea Lancifolia Insignia has a striking appearance, but is really a sweetheart. She has beautiful lanceolate leaves with wavy edges. The dark green stripes on a light background, burgundy underside and velvety leaves are typical of this Brazilian Beauty. You can understand why she is nicknamed the Rattlesnake Plant! With the right care, this mini can grow into a beautiful houseplant!
Despite her Brazilian temperament, the Calathea Lancifolia Insigne is a forgiving type. She can take a beating, but of course prefers to be well cared for. She can be a bit of a drama queen when it comes to water. She likes moist soil, but soggy soil is a no go. To make her soil well permeable, you can mix her standard potting soil with perlite. In bright, but indirect light, this beauty comes into its own. Place her in a bright room and watch out for bright sunlight.

Your order will be hand picked and packed in our strong and sustainable packaging as soon as possible, after which it will be delivered straight from our greenhouse to your door by your chosen carrier.
