The Anoectochilus Chapaensis originates from parts of China and Vietnam. This beautiful Jewel Orchid is also called the "Golden Jewel Orchid". And we immediately understand why! The velvet leaves each have unique golden veins that glisten in the sunlight and this contrasts beautifully with the chestnut-brown, almost black leaves. The veins on each leaf form an interesting pattern. The leaves also have a subtle heart shape. Normally Orchids get white flowers, but in the Chapaensis grow beautiful yellow flowers.
These plants are slow-growing but make sure they are in a light/ half shade spot without direct sunlight. In addition, it is important that the moss remains slightly moist, they love high humidity.
