This striking and colourful baby is strong and evergreen. It has yellow and green mottled leaves that contrast beautifully with her bright pink stems. Modest flowers appear in summer and autumn, but it is her foliage that is the show stopper!
She is happy as an indoor or outdoor plant and she likes high heat and high humidity. If you keep her indoors, remember that she likes a lot of light. Make sure you keep the potting soil slightly moist by regularly giving her small amounts of water. Give this baby some plant food once a month.

There's something really special about Iresine plants - they have tiny leaves with really bright colours. Many varieties of Iresine are available, each with its unique combination of leaf and stem colours. Iresine plants are sometimes called Bloodleaf or Beefstake plants because of their lovely colours.
