You can pick a spot for the Ficus Alii where it can receive lots of bright indirect light. The Ficus Alii is even tolerant to some direct sunlight, but not too much. Because too much light will scorch those fun leaves.
You can opt for a organic potting soil, just like our PLNTS soil, combined with some perlite and vermiculite for extra drainage and aeration.
You can water the Ficus Alii when about 50% of the potting soil has dried out. This will maintain some moistness within the soil, without it getting soggy.
