Fargesia Rufa is a hardy, clumping bamboo with bright green, arching canes and elegant, flowing foliage. It reaches 1.5–2 m high and 1–1.5 m wide. Plant 2–3 per square meter to create a dense natural screen or hedge. This bamboo adds texture, movement, and year-round greenery to garden spaces, and its upright form is perfect for both contemporary and naturalistic planting schemes. Seasonal conditions may slightly affect foliage density at delivery.
Plant in partial shade with fertile, moist, well-draining soil. Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry spells, to prevent leaf browning. Mulching helps conserve moisture and protect roots in colder months. Remove older or weak canes to maintain a healthy, dense appearance. Fargesia Rufa responds well to regular watering and occasional fertilization, promoting vigorous growth and lush, green foliage.
