The Chamaedorea loves a bit of extra humidity. Place a small dish of water next to it or mist the leaves now and then to boost humidity and get rid of dust. Keep it in a spot with indirect sunlight – too much sun can damage the leaves. It prefers temperatures between 18 and 24°C and is sensitive to drafts. Water it 1-2 times a week in the summer, and less in the winter. Just check with your finger if the soil feels dry before giving it water!
