Your Calathea Vittata feels best at home in a spot with bright, indirect light. Direct sun can burn the leaves, so make sure it is protected from that.
It likes moist soil, so make sure the potting soil is kept evenly moist, without leaving water at the bottom of the pot. Let the top layer of soil dry out before watering again. It also benefits from an airy potting soil to avoid over-watering.
