The Calathea Roseopicta originates from the South American tropical rainforest. The dark green leaves with bright pink markings are characteristic for this houseplant. Calathea is an air-purifying plant.
Calathea loves a sunny spot but not in the full afternoon sun. The soil should remain moist continuously, but avoid root rot by not wetting the plant too often.

October 09, 2023This plant came safe and no signs of being sick like my Alocasia did. I was so scared of this plant and still am, as I heard a lot of plant lovers that a Calathea is difficult to take care of because it is picky. So far it seems alright though it does seem to be sleeping now it's gone to colder days (more or less in the UK).

June 20, 2023I received this baby in very good condition. Looks like the picture as well which was a great thing. It has now been 2 weeks since receiving the her and she is Thriving! I can't wait to see what she will become as time goes on! She had a new leaf coming in when she arrived and the leaf has officially started unfolding, I can't wait to see what the leaf baby will look like when it opens fully!!
