The Asparagus Setaceus Plumosus or Asperagus Fern is one of our most adorable baby plants, resembling a mix of an asparagus plant and a fern. With her soft feathery appearance she is a fresh appearance in, for example, the bathroom or kitchen, and as she loves humidity she’s the perfect plant for near the shower! She lives very happily under a bell jar or in a terrarium.

We expect every order to arrive in tip-top shape. We take intensive care of the plants in our greenhouse and use special and as sustainable as possible protective packaging to ship our plants. We also wrote an extensive blog about how to unpack and prepare your plants for growth after shipping. However there are rare occasions where our plants don’t meet their full potential. That’s why all plants are guaranteed for 30 days after arrival, if still in its original nursery pot.

Everything about Asparagus
Asparagus Fern, also known as Asparagus setaceus, Lace Fern or Plumose Fern, is a beautiful and easy-to-grow houseplant. Most Asparagus foliage has a velvet touch that makes them really soft. We love to take care of them just to be able to touch their soft foliage for hours! Although Asparagus looks similar to a fern, it is actually not a fern. Asparagus plants also flower and may produce seeds, something ferns never do. They also thrive in more difficult growing conditions than the shade- and moisture-loving true ferns.
