Baby Alocasia Scalprum is a special new baby plant in our shop. She has shiny pointed leaves with lots of texture, really eye-catching! The undersides of her leaves have a nice dark red colour to complete her special look. She is native to the Philippines, mainly from the island of Samar.
Give this baby a spot with plenty of bright, but indirect, light and a humidity of around 60%. She prefers regular small bits of water rather than a big gulp all at once. This is because she can be prone to root rot. During the growing season, she needs a monthly dose of PLNTS nutrition to provide her with all the energy she needs.

The baby Scalprum is absolutely lovely and so sweet in real! One small leaf was slightly crinkled, but I’m sure it will recover quickly. It arrived in almost excellent condition after traveling for a week due to the holidays! All other plants I ordered with him are in excellent condition as well.

Healthy and beautiful but a little finicky.
Your order will be hand picked and packed in our strong and sustainable packaging as soon as possible, after which it will be delivered straight from our greenhouse to your door by your chosen carrier. You can follow the journey of your plants via the tracking link you receive in your mail. If you have any questions regarding your order and its shipment, you can get in contact with our support team.
We expect every order to arrive in tip-top shape. We take intensive care of the plants in our greenhouse and use special and as sustainable as possible protective packaging to ship our plants. We also wrote an extensive blog about how to unpack and prepare your plants for growth after shipping. However there are rare occasions where our plants don’t meet their full potential. That’s why all plants are guaranteed for 30 days after arrival, if still in its original nursery pot.
