The Xanthosoma variegata, better known as the ‘Mickey Mouse plant’, is native to the tropics in South-America. This plant belongs to the aroid family and can become huge under the right conditions! They can grow upto 3 feet tall and their leaves can become 15 inches long. WoW! The Xanthosoma variegata has beautiful arrow shaped leaves with cream or white variegation. The amount of variegation will be different on every leaf, which makes every new leaf a cool surprise.
This beautiful Xanthosoma will absolutely thrive in humid environments, since it is native to the tropics. Her leaves can get brown and crispy if her environment is not humid enough. Humidity above 60% will be perfect for her. She would also be very suitable for inside a greenhouse!\nShe will love lots of bright indirect light and needs water when the top of the soil feels dry. She will need nutrients 2 times a month in spring, in winter the plant will not need any nutrients.\nShe will prefer airy soil
