The Alocasia Lauterbachiana is a tall, elegant beauty with long, narrow leaves that have wavy edges and a striking purple-bronze underside. Her upright growth and architectural shape give her an almost sculptural quality that commands attention.
Your Lauterbachiana thrives in bright, indirect light and appreciates consistently moist (not soggy) soil. Water about once a week and allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. She enjoys warm temperatures and high humidity — a bathroom or kitchen windowsill suits her wonderfully.
