Meet a special cultivar of the Alocasia Heterophylla, the ‘Corazon’. This beauty has a gorgeous appearance, like it came straight out of a fairytale. It is a bit similar to the regular Heterophylla, you can spot some differences in the lobes and colour. The Corazon is also much glossier, which makes it literally shine! This tropical beauty grows best in bright indirect light and a humidity of 60% or higher. It also prefers a warm and cosy temperature of around 23 degrees. But the bare minimum is 18 degrees.
The Corazon, would like to grow inside well draining soil. This can be made with some chunky and organic substrates. In our aroid potting mix kit you will find the ones that you need.
You can keep the soil slightly moist, giving regular splashes of water. Make sure the soil doesn’t get too wet, since this is something your baby can’t handle well.
