The Alocasia Frydek is also called the Green Velvet Alocasia because of its velvety leaves. It can be easily identified by its beautiful white veins, which contrast against the deep green leaves and give the impression of glowing. This lady has a high cuteness factor but can be hard to get hold of, because she’s not very common. Just like other Alocasias she needs some extra love to keep on shining, but you get a very nice living room plant in return.
The Alocasia Frydek does not like having damp feet, so give small splashes of water several times a week. Make sure that the soil doesn’t get too wet, because this can cause her roots to rot. When brown edges appear on her leaves, she’s letting you know that it’s time to repot. She’s happiest in a light spot, but not in full sun. During the spring and summer growing season, regularly give some extra organic PLNTS nutrition to support your plant optimally.

Beautiful plant I received. Was a little disappointed as the size and fullness of the plant did not quite match the description. But apart from that, it had some large and very beautiful eye-catching leaves and a fantastically healthy root system
