The baby Aglaonema Red Valentine is special with her green leaves with pink speckles. The pink contrasts beautifully with the dark green, making this plant a real eyecatcher! The pink dots eventually become more red as the leaves mature. This special baby plant looks like a living work of art and the good news with this baby is, she will grow even bigger with your care!
Bright indirect sunlight is optimal and will help the baby Red Valentine produce the beautiful red and pink colours on its leaves and grow well. Just make sure that the Aglaonema does not get full sun, the leaves can burn and you want to avoid this! This plant will also tolerate a low-light spot, but the colours of the leaves will not be as deep and beautiful then. Furthermore, make sure that the potting soil remains slightly moist, as like most plants, this baby doesn't like wet feet! In winter, it's better to let the potting soil dry out a little before watering again.

March 28, 2021(First of all, this plant isn’t an aglaonema pink princess! Those are usually pricey and it would be super rare to find an online retailer without a waiting list for that particular variation of aglaonema. I was aware of this before ordering, and the plant in the photo IS the plant you receive, so it doesn’t matter much unless you’re specifically looking for a pink princess!) Arrived to Ireland quickly and in healthy condition! Lost a leaf or two after a week of settling in, but she’s sprouting new growth like there’s no tomorrow! Also, I’ve been trying to figure out the actual variation type this is, as someone else mentioned in a review it could be pink Aurora, but the plant I received definitely has much brighter pink and a lot of beautiful mottling that isn’t usually present in pink Aurora. I’m at a loss as of right now, but the closest resemblance i found to my plant is “spotted star aglaonema”. Definitely recommend this little plant!!

November 16, 2020Plant looked like like the photo; two pink leaves, one green. I changed soil and washed roots and about 2 weeks later its slowly putting out signs its thinking about a new leaf. Very, very slow growing, but it seems happy enough!

The Aglaonema (Chinese Evergreen) is part of the Araceae family and originates from tropical areas of Southeast Asia. There are more than 50 recognised varieties of Aglaonema with endless variation in leaf colour and shape. Most Aglaonema’s are green with white or greyish colours, but there are also variations with pink or purple colours. The leaves usually have a marbled or mottled pattern.
