The Scindapsus Treubii Nearly Black is ideal for PLNTSlovers that go crazy for plants with darker appearance. This cutie is super rare, just like her sibling the ‘Moonlight’. She differs from other Scindapsus because she has no silver variegation on het leaves. This really enhances her deep black colour. Because of this significant colour, she is also called ‘Dark Form’. Another great thing about this colour is that she can even grow in spots with more shade! Woohoo!
Obviously your Scindapsus Treubii Nearly Black grows best in indirect light. Nevertheless she also appreciates low light, but then she will grow significantly slower. It’s certainly worth the try to let her grow in a higher humidity. For example you can place her on a pebble tray or mist her regularly with a plant sprayer. As for watering, her thick leaves help retain moisture. Therefor you should worry more about overwatering your plant than giving it too little water. Let the upper 2-3 cm dry out before your water her again

I love it! The leaves are stunning. A few leaves were damaged from transit and the cuttings got dislodged from the soil so there was a bit of a soil mess in the box. Other than that, it arrived with healthy roots and leaves. The plant is easily repotted. Just a suggestion to maybe put something protective over the top of the soil/pot so the soil doesn’t go everywhere during shipping. :)
