The Polyscias Ming is a little indoor tree with serious bonsai vibes, thanks to its finely cut, lacy leaves on gracefully twisting stems. Each layer of foliage builds an airy green crown that feels straight out of an Asian garden. It grows slowly and elegantly, keeping its refined shape without much pruning. Give it a bright spot and a steady place, and it settles in for years. Its delicate look adds softness to modern interiors. A serene green friend for lovers of calm and detail.
Your Polyscias likes a bright spot without harsh direct sunlight and, above all, a fixed place, as it can sulk and drop leaves after a sudden move. Water every other week and keep the soil just lightly moist, never soggy. It appreciates a bit of extra humidity, so mist it regularly, especially in winter when the heating is on. Plant it in a well-draining potting mix and repot every two years. Feed monthly during spring and summer. Keep it warm, ideally above 17 degrees, and out of cold draughts. Losing a few leaves after relocation is normal, so give it time to settle before you worry. Keep curious pets from nibbling, as the leaves are mildly toxic.
