Piper Sylvaticum is an amazing and rare climbing plant from the Himalayas. Its beautiful heart-shaped leaves have a silvery/metallic glow with a deep green bright vein. We cannot take our eyes off her. Sometimes, it even looks as if there is a layer of sugary granules on the leaf. This plant certainly stands out!
She is easy to take care of, very suitable for beginners! This beautiful plant likes a lot of direct light. As usual with tropical plants, it is good to water her only when the top few centimetres of the soil are dry, so do not leave her with wet feet. Unfortunately, this plant can be toxic to pets. The Piper Sylvaticum has crystal growth on the underside of the leaves, which is normal for this species. These crystals look like mealybugs and are often mistaken for them.
