The Philodendron Mexicanum is a real eye-catcher with her long, narrow leaves with big lobes on top. Her leaves can grow up to more than half a meter long! This Philodendron loves to get some filtered sunlight, but make sure she won’t get sunburn on those massive leaves of hers. If you can’t provide her with filtered sunlight, you can also put her in bright indirect light. Give her a well draining, chunky soil mix that is rich in organic materials. You can water her whenever the top part of the soil has dried out, you can check this by sticking your finger in the soil. She would love a humid environment of about 60%, or even a bit higher.
