Philodendrons enjoy a high air humidity, so make sure to give the leaves of your McColley’s Finale a good misting every now and then. This also helps wash off any dust on leaves, which helps the plant to breathe better as well as prevent diseases. The Philodendron enjoy a rather moist soil, however it shouldn’t remain wet for too long as this can cause root rot. Yellow or brown leaves are an indication of too much or too little water, but can also indicate a lack or surplus of light. The plant enjoys both a spot in a brighter area as well as a shady place as long as it still receives sufficient light, without any direct sunlight hitting its leaves. Try placing it at different spots and see how your plant reacts! As long as it keeps growing new leaves you’ll know the plant is happy & healthy.
The baby plant arrived already showing tons of color variation in the leaves! The bottom leaves are green and there's a beautiful gradient between them all.
Great plant overall but mine was quite a bit smaller than the +10cm promised (obviously I measured with the plug included and barely got 8cm) which was disappointing. The root system was small as well as the plant immediately fell out of the sopping wet plug when I picked it up. The plant in general is good, the specimen I received was in my opinion subpar.
Arrived perfect despite how little it is. It's a bit of a slow grower we had to settle a little on how much water he wanted before we became friends. He also needs tons of light and is happiest almost directly under the grow light, but once it gets going it's very pretty with it's coppery leaves, definitely worth a try if you want something a little special and more temperamental.
Received the plant in great condition.Planty of new little leaves in yellow and orange. I can' t wait to see it grow big
those colors are so lovely and just now it‘s getting another new leave. so in love!
This fella arrived healthy and a decent size, it has already unfurled a new leaf and is happy :) the shipping took 4 days.
