This aroid has a very distinctive leaf shape, which is really one of a kind. They look a little bit like Monstera leaves, only way more incised! This is the Philodendron Mayoi and is highly wanted by the Philodendron lovers. That’s why she is pretty hard to come by at times, but don’t worry, you have finally found her! A funny fact about her name is that she is named after the aroid botanist that discovered her. What an honor must that be!
The Philodendron Mayoi will grow best inside airy loose soil. Keep the soil slightly moist at all times, but prevent water from accumulating on the bottom of the pot. She would rather not have wet roots. Combine that with lots of bright indirect light and a humidity of 60% or higher. This is the basis for a nice and healthy Philodendron Mayoi. To give her a little bit extra support during growing, you can give her a monthly portion of nutrition during the growing season. It may sound like a lot, but she is pretty forgiving

Arrived in mint condition, the size is as in the picture. It's still acclimatising, as I'm waiting for a new leaf to push out.

Received three weeks ago and a new leaf is hardening already. Arrived in great condition and grows quickly. Patiently waiting for maturation.
