We are very happy to finally have this cute Baby Philodendron Mamei in our shop. This Philodendron is originally from Ecuador. When mature, this beauty gets large green leaves, accentuated by a silver pattern. Also, its veins on the leaves will become deeper and deeper, which gives a very cool effect. Really cool is that even her petioles are special. Namely, these have graceful wavy edges and are reddish with green in colour with subtle white stripes. This entire baby plant is really a feast for the eyes.
This baby is a creeping Philodendron, not a climber. So it is good to eventually put her in an oval pot. In doing so, she would grow better in an airy potting mix. Our Aroid mix, for example, would be perfect. She will grow best in a bright room with indirect sunlight. She also likes moist soil, but not too wet. The best method to see if your plant can use water is to check if the top few centimetres of the soil feels dry. Finally, she likes to be misted, this also helps keep her leaves fresh, clean and shiny!

I currently have it in sphagnum moss, because it's a bit weak, might just be my specimen though.
