This is the spectacular Philodendron Bilitiae! At the moment she is still a cute baby, but when she matures she will have very long leaves. When we say long, we really mean long! They can grow up to 1 metre long per leaf, how cool is that!? Her orange stems compliment her long green leaves. The Bilitiae is a real eye-catcher that can be a great addition to your PLNTS collection!
This baby likes a place with bright indirect light and a humid environment. It will do well in a humidity level of 50%, but prefers an even higher one, around 70%. Her leaves may lose colour when she gets too little light. She is also susceptible to root rot. So only water her when the top (2-3 cm) of the soil feels dry and be careful with the amount of water you give her. To make this baby grow, you can give it some nutrition during the growing season. For a such a small baby the leaves are pretty big and glossy. It arrived very well packed and after few weeks new leaves started to appear
