One of many special varieties in the Philodendron family is the super pretty Philodendron Atabapoense! Her looks are striking because she has huge leaves in the shape of an arrow and the bottom of those big leaves have a beautiful red colour. The older she gets, the bigger her leaves will grow. Did you know that her leaves can even reach a length of 75 cm long? Impressive right?! She looks very similar to her family relative the Philodendron Billitiae, but important differences are that the Atabapoense has a green stem and the bottom of the big leaves are eye-catching red.
The Philodendron Atabapoense is a star in purifying air. So next to her stunning looks she’s also good for your health! Despite her rarity, she is quite easy to take care of. Make sure the top of her soil is dried out before you’ll water her. Just like most plants, she is sensitive to overwatering, so better to give the Atabapoense less water than too much. A bright spot in the living room is perfect for the Atabapoense. After all

Bought this plant on sale for an excellent price! Undersides or the leaves have a stunning coloring, would definitely recommend.

I loooove my new Atabapoense so much! It arrived looking very healthy with 6 huge leaves (M size). I agree with the previous review - I’ve never seen such good packaging for plants. No need to worry about damage during shipping!
