Peperomia Rosso is a two-faced beauty in the best possible way: deep green, pointed leaves on top with a surprising wine-red underside. Her leaves grow in dense rosettes that look striking from every angle. She stays compact, sits happily on a desk or shelf, and asks very little in return. A pet-friendly green friend with hidden fire underneath.
Your peperomia is wonderfully low-key: a bright spot without direct sun keeps her colours and patterns at their best. Water about once every two weeks, letting the soil dry out well in between; her semi-succulent leaves hold reserves and overwatering is her only real enemy. When in doubt, wait a few more days. Normal room humidity is fine, no misting rituals needed. Feed lightly in spring and summer and repot every two to three years into an airy mix. And the best part: she is completely safe for cats and dogs.
