The Nephrolepis Duffii is a charming little sword fern with narrow, upright fronds covered in small, round leaflets that look like stacked green coins. Its compact, tidy growth makes it feel almost like a bonsai among ferns. Fresh and playful, it fits perfectly on a windowsill, desk or bathroom shelf. Like its fern family, it works quietly on cleaner air while staying wonderfully low-key. It is also completely safe for cats and dogs. A small green friend with a surprising amount of charm per centimetre.

Your Nephrolepis is happiest in a bright spot without direct sunlight, where its feathery fronds won't scorch. Water weekly and keep the soil consistently lightly moist, as this fern really dislikes drying out completely. High humidity is the secret to lush growth, so the bathroom or regular misting works wonders. Plant it in an airy, well-draining potting mix and repot every two years. Feed monthly in spring and summer with diluted plant food. Crispy fronds usually mean dry air or thirst, so check the soil and mist a little more often. And great news: this green friend is completely safe for cats and dogs.
