The Monstera Esqueleto has big, fine fenestrated leaves. You might have heard of her look-alikes Monstera Obliqua or the Adansonii, but the Esqueleto produces leaves that are way bigger. This helped her survive the heavy rain within the cloud forest of Costa Rica, where she originates from. This special Monstera would love a well draining soil mix, which you can make with our Aroid potting mix kit. This will make sure she has all the materials in her soil that she adores. Keep her soil slightly moist at all times and provide her with a humidity of at least 50%. Due to her fenestrations, this Monstera needs a lot of light. Bright indirect sunlight would be perfect, just make sure it isn’t too extreme that it will scorch her phenomenal leaves. So if you have a steamy bathroom with lots of light, this Monstera would love to take her spot inside it. :)

Hard to size up, but in good condition, although a bit on the smaller size in my case. Transfered it to semi Hydro, because I hate the plugs they come with.

It has only just developed its first leaves, and these are of a unique pearlescent green. Looking forward to it growing big and seeing its giant leaves!

Received the plant in great condition and pushing a new leave ( common theme from most of my PLNTS purchases) in the middle of winter, and after less than a month a second one is on its way. The esqueleto is pretty and fast growing, can't wait to grow it big!
