Wooh, this Monstera Standleyana ‘Aura Variegata’ is a real queen! This super rare beauty really shows off her gorgeous variegated leaves and therefore deserves a throne. She is a climber and strives for the top. You can definitely see that because her leaves remain to grow upright, even when she is growing. The shape of her leaves are pointy and the colour is dark green. Of course she has amazing striped and speckled variegation in ‘aura’ colour on her leaves. This means the variegation is yellow of colour instead of white. Are you ready for this queen to enter your room? ;-)
You must think, a special plant asks for a special caring. Well, the Monstera Standleyana Aurea Variegata is actually really easy to care for with these guidelines! Let the top of her soil (2-3 cm) get dry before you water her. You can easily check this with famous ‘finger test for plants’. Keep her in bright indirect light as this also stimulates her yellow variegation. Just like other Monsteras, this beauty also likes humidity. Try to help her grow up in a humid environment by using pebbles trays, a humidifier or water sprayers
