The Hoya Linearis is a gorgeous plant that we PLNTSlovers let trail down, but if you prefer it on a climbing tool that is also very possible! The foliage is thin and long, which gives the plant an interesting look. This plant is hard to come by and is definitely a rare Hoya species. This Hoya is very different from its family members. Instead of heaving waxy leaves, this Hoya has soft and slightly hairy foliage. Besides it can produce flowers that are shaped like a star, isn't that gorgeous? You can grow your Hoya in bright indirect light. Make sure it can soak up enough light, but keep it out of direct sunlight. Lower light conditions will stunt growth and will keep this plant from thriving.
As for a soil mix, you can use our epiphyte potting mix kit to mix a very comfortable mix at home. The soil needs to stay on the dryer side, but once it is time to water, you have to water thoroughly.
You can keep the humidity up, around 60%. The temperature around the plant can be kept between 15 and 29 degrees. Keep it out of cold draughts and don’t place it near doors that open outside often.

Hoya plants are a very impressive group of tropical houseplants. Plant collectors and experts estimate that there are more than 600 species in their family. Various characteristics distinguish different species and cultivars, including leaf shape, flower colour, size, and growth pattern.
Most Wax Plants are really easy to care for, but some cultivars require more attention. Overall, they are slow-growing plants with long stems and fleshy deep green waxy leaves. Some varieties even produce unique flowers. They (can) produce sweet-smelling and star-shaped flowers, usually with five thick and waxy petals.
