Ficus Marole is a rubber plant with a twist: her deep green leaves carry a subtle dark marbling that gives every leaf its own fingerprint. Thick, glossy and sturdy, she grows steadily upward into an elegant green column. She is happiest catching plenty of indirect light while quietly purifying the air around her. A distinctive green friend that adds depth to any plant corner.
Your rubber plant likes a bright spot without harsh midday sun, where her glossy leaves colour up best. Water about once every two weeks and let the top few centimetres of soil dry out first; her thick leaves store plenty of reserves. She is fine with normal room humidity, though an occasional wipe with a damp cloth keeps those big leaves shiny and breathing. Repot every two years into fresh, airy potting soil and give her some plant food in spring and summer. Watch out for cold draughts and remember her milky sap can irritate, so keep curious pets and little hands away.
