The Ficus Carica is a deciduous fig tree with broad, lobed leaves and sweet edible fruits. It grows 3–4 m high and 2–3 m wide. Plant 1 per square meter in garden borders or large containers. Depending on the season, it may arrive with leaves, fruits, or bare branches.
Place in full sun or partial shade with well-draining soil. Water regularly, especially during dry periods, and protect from frost. Prune after harvest to maintain shape and encourage vigorous new growth and fruiting.
