The Ficus benjamina is a compact-growing species with small, pointed green leaves, which contrasts with the large, rubbery leaves often seen in other Ficus species. The branches hang slightly downward and are thin and flexible, contributing to the full shape of the tree. Due to its playful character and compact size, the Ficus benjamina is ideal for indoor spaces. Are you considering adopting this charming plant? Purchase the Ficus benjamina online.
The Ficus would love to grow inside bright indirect light and also wouldn’t mind the soft sunrays of the afternoon sun shining bright upon it. Too much light will scorch the leaves, so just keep a small eye out for that.
You might want to plant the Ficus in a soil mix, that is able to drain water and allows lots of oxygen to reach the roots. We recommend organic soil, like our PLNTS soil, combined with perlite and vermiculite.
You can water the Ficus Benjamina when about half of the soil has dried out. This will maintain some moistness, without the soil ever getting wet or soggy.
