Dracaena Lemon Surprise is a little party in a pot: glossy ribbons of lime and lemon green twist playfully around each other on this compact baby plant. Her curly leaf tips give her a cheeky look no other dragon tree has. She is perfectly happy on a desk or shelf and grows up slowly but surely. A zingy little green friend to brighten your day.
Your dracaena is one of the most forgiving green friends out there. She prefers bright, indirect light but accepts shadier spots, where variegated types just colour a little softer. Water about once every two weeks, letting the top half of the soil dry out first; she would always rather be too dry than too wet. She prefers rainwater or filtered water, as fluoride in tap water can cause brown leaf tips. Feed lightly in spring and summer and repot every three years or so. Keep her out of reach of cats and dogs, since her leaves are not pet-friendly.

Everything about Dracaena
Dracaena plants are incredibly popular as houseplants worldwide. The ones you'll see most often are Dracaena Marginata and Dracaena Fragrans. You might also know them by other names, like Corn Plant, Dragon Tree, or Cornstalk Dracaena. What's really fun about these plants is that they look like tiny trees.
The word Dracaena comes from the Ancient Greek word Drakaina, meaning "female dragon". With about 120 recognised species, the Dracaena family is not particularly large. This family is native to Africa, South Asia, northern Australia and Central America.
