Digitalis purpurea Dalmatian White produces tall spikes of pure white tubular flowers. It reaches 1–1.5 m in height. Plant 2–3 per square meter for vertical interest in garden borders, containers, or pollinator plantings. Its upright form and dense stems provide structure, while seasonal blooms attract bees and other pollinators. Foliage remains attractive throughout the year.
Please note: All parts of Digitalis are toxic if ingested. It is advisable to plant with care in gardens where children and pets have access.
Plant in partial sun to light shade with fertile, well-draining soil. Maintain consistently moist soil without waterlogging. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage prolonged flowering and tidy growth. Apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring to strengthen stems and promote abundant bloom. Protect young plants from harsh winter winds or late frosts to ensure healthy development.
