The Calathea Zebrina or ‘Zebra Plant’ has its 'roots' in the tropical rainforests of South America. This little plant is a tropical addition to your plant family, and while she’s only small now, with a bit of the right care and attention she will grow into a lush living room plant. The Calathea Zebrina can be quite fussy though and needs more attentive care than some houseplants, so be sure to first read the care tips carefully before you welcome this baby plant into your home.
The Calathea Zebrina is not too hard to care for- just follow the instructions! To avoid overwatering her, give her two splashes of water a week. This way the soil can stay moist while the roots stay dry, ensuring that she stays healthy and happy. Give her some organic PLNTS food once every two weeks and she will grow out of her baby plant pot quickly. And if you watch her closely you’ll see that she ‘breathes’

Calathea plants, also known as prayer plants, are popular indoor plants due to their unique and stunning leaves.
