The Calathea Roseopicta originates from the South American tropical rainforest. The dark green leaves with bright pink markings are characteristic for this houseplant. Calathea is an air-purifying plant.
Because the baby Calathea Roseopicta Dottie is a 'prayer plant', it’s important that she gets a good supply of moisture from her soil. We suggest watering her twice a week for the best results. She also thrives in the darker areas of your home, so save the window space for the more needy plants and give her a shady corner where she can happily thrive! A little bit of regular nutrition and water (particularly in the spring and summer) and in no time at all she will quickly outgrow her little pot and be ready for a bigger one.

09 October 2023This plant came safe and no signs of being sick like my Alocasia did. I was so scared of this plant and still am, as I heard a lot of plant lovers that a Calathea is difficult to take care of because it is picky. So far it seems alright though it does seem to be sleeping now it's gone to colder days (more or less in the UK).

20 June 2023I received this baby in very good condition. Looks like the picture as well which was a great thing. It has now been 2 weeks since receiving the her and she is Thriving! I can't wait to see what she will become as time goes on! She had a new leaf coming in when she arrived and the leaf has officially started unfolding, I can't wait to see what the leaf baby will look like when it opens fully!!
