Wow isn’t this cutie lovely? She looks so much like the Alocasia Black Velvet but the Alocasia Ninja gets larger and rounder leaves as she grows up. She has pretty dark green velvet leaves with amazing light silvery veins. Compared to the Black Velvet, the leaves of the Alocasia Ninja are a lot firmer. Summarised we can call her a strong lady with a stunning appearance, who doesn’t like that, right?!
Like other Alocasias, the Alocasia Ninja requires a little more care. She can be a drama queen but if you treat her the right way she will bright up your room with her stunning leaves. Give her a spot where she gets about 6 hours of indirect bright light. She likes to let her soil dry out before you water her again, so it’s best to check the soil every now and then to know her needs. A high humidity is ideal for the Alocasia Ninja as she thrives in these humid environment, so try helping her with a humidifier or plant sprayer!

We expect every order to arrive in tip-top shape. We take intensive care of the plants in our greenhouse and use special and as sustainable as possible protective packaging to ship our plants. We also wrote an extensive blog about how to unpack and prepare your plants for growth after shipping. However there are rare occasions where our plants don’t meet their full potential. That’s why all plants are guaranteed for 30 days after arrival, if still in its original nursery pot.
