This is the Alocasia Maharani, which is commonly known as ‘Grey Dragon’. She has thick leathery leaves with a lot of texture. These leaves are a pretty dark grey colour. This plant is actually perfect if you're lacking some space inside your urban jungle. She is a dwarf type Alocasia, which makes her even more likable. She is a rare Alocasia species that will be absolutely unique inside your urban jungle.
This rare Alocasia originates from the tropics and therefore would like a similar climate inside your urban jungle. Give her a humidity of 80% and moist soil at all times. Yes, she is a real moisture lover. She would also like bright indirect light, since this replicates the sunrays coming through the trees that she gets inside the tropics. You can give her an airy soil mix that is rich in nutrients. Our aroids potting mix kit contains all the substrates that you need to make her as comfortable as possible.
