Alocasia species are still surprising us with their special foliage. The Alocasia Green Shield or also known as Alocasia Clypeolata doesn’t disappoint us either! She has astonishing green glossy leaves, with a darker green, slightly ridged texture. She looks really explicit and even slightly mysterious! Are you up for a plant like that? The Alocasia Clypeolata Green Shield will grow best in a potting soil that is rich in organic materials and stays slightly moist. It is best to use our aroid potting mix kit to create your own potting mix and water her with small sips.
You can place her on a spot where there is bright indirect light. This will resemble the most in what type of light she grows where she originates from.
Lastly she would prefer to grow inside a higher humidity, between 60 and 80% would be great. She does tolerate lower humidity levels, you if increasing is not doable for you, she will still be fine. :)
