about this plant
The Ficus benghalensis ‘Roy’ has large, leathery and glossy leaves, just like other plants in the Ficus family such as Robusta and Tineke. What distinct Ficus Roy from the others, is the light tone of the veins that contrasts nicely with the rich green of Roy’s leaves.

Ficus Roy prefers little water often rather than plenty of water at once. Let the potting soil dry before you water it again. Roy doesn't like wet feet and too much water can cause root rot. Place the plant in a light spot with bright, indirect light, but not in direct sunlight. The large leaves can easily become slightly dusty, so wipe them down with a down clean damp cloth or a feather duster every now and then. Give Ficus Roy some extra PLNTS food during the growing season; this will definitely make Roy a shiny, happy plant!
