La Ceropegia Woodii 'String of Hearts' è una popolare succulenta rampicante. Deve il suo soprannome "String of Hearts" alle sue delicate foglie a forma di cuore che scendono con grazia su lunghe e sottili liane. La pianta baby String of Hearts ha un fogliame delicato di colore grigio-argento, con una splendida trama e la parte inferiore verde e viola. In primavera e in estate, questa pianta carina può anche far crescere piccoli fiori viola a forma di vaso!
La nostra piccola Ceropegia Woodii è originaria dello Zimbabwe e del Sudafrica, dove è stata originariamente scoperta mentre si arrampicava sulle rocce. Fortunatamente, questa avventurosa pianta ricadente non è così esigente, quindi si sentirà subito a casa anche nel vostro salotto.
Sebbene sia piuttosto semplice, la pianta String of Hearts preferisce essere collocata su una mensola in alto o in un cesto appeso. In questo modo avrà spazio a sufficienza per scendere. Se ha spazio, i suoi rampicanti possono raggiungere una lunghezza di oltre 3 metri!
La piccola Ceropegia Woodii è facile da curare e può essere collocata in pieno sole o a mezz'ombra, ma se vedete che le sue foglie diventano di un verde più chiaro è segno che potrebbe non ricevere abbastanza luce. Non ha bisogno di molta acqua; una spruzzata settimanale è sufficiente e previene il rischio di marciume radicale. In natura cresce spesso su pareti rocciose, quindi un cesto sospeso le permetterà di penzolare felicemente. È abbastanza stabile, il che significa che non è necessario rinvasarla. Per non esaurire il terreno si consiglia di aggiungere un po' di nutrimento organico PLNTS nei mesi estivi. La baby Ceropegia Woodii ama anche un bagno rinfrescante con un flacone spray e le sue ciocche si moltiplicheranno rapidamente e diventeranno ancora più lunghe.

17 agosto 2023Arrivata in forma perfetta nonostante il lungo viaggio a causa delle festività, non vedo l'ora che cresca,sono contenta di aver preso anche questa versione di un bel verde oltre che quella variegata.

13 novembre 2020The soil was too wet, so the vines started rotting and my plant unfortunately died. I was given a full refund though, and would still order other plants from the site as I have many other plants from here that have done well.

05 novembre 2020The plant truly is tiny, but gorgeous. Mine had two strings and a full top upon arrival. Just received it and it's already growing new vines. Seems the cold travel didn't affect it negatively at all! I imagine this would make a great gift, such a fuss-free plant.
