Begonia Rex Ferox looks like she comes from another planet: her lime green leaves are covered in dark, pointy bumps that feel as wild as they look. Despite that fierce name and spiky armour she is a gentle housemate that simply wants a bright, humid spot. Every new leaf is a small event, growing more textured as she matures. A conversation starter that gives your urban jungle real edge.
Your Rex Begonia loves bright, indirect light: the more light without direct sun, the richer her colours. Water weekly with small amounts, keeping the soil lightly moist, and always pour at the base because droplets on those textured leaves can cause spots. She enjoys higher humidity, but prefers a humidifier or a pebble tray over misting. Keep her warm and away from cold draughts, and feed lightly in spring and summer. Remove faded leaves promptly to keep her fresh, and keep her out of reach of pets.

That’s why all plants are guaranteed for 30 days after arrival, if still in its original nursery pot.

It is well known that some Begonias are grown outdoors (in gardens or balconies) due to their beautiful flowers and blooming from spring to autumn. Indoor Begonias are more valued for their foliage and require slightly different care than Begonias grown outdoors.
