De Alocasia Zebrina (Baby) is de prinses van de planten savanne. Met haar prachtige gestreepte steel, die refereert aan een zebra, is ze een lust voor het oog. In de natuur worden haar bladeren zo groot dat er een vergelijking wordt gemaakt met een olifantsoor. Voor veel dieren in het Zuidoost-Aziatische regenwoud bieden de bladeren van de Alocasia Zebrina, die soms wel 100 centimeter groot kunnen worden, een veilige schuilplaats. Met jouw zorg groeit ze uit tot een prachtige huiskamerplant waar je veel oooh en aaaah’s voor krijgt.
De Alocasia Zebrina (Baby) houdt niet van een vochtige voeten, geef daarom meerdere malen per week een scheutje water. Let er wel op dat de aarde niet te nat wordt, omdat de wortels van Baby Alocasia Zebrina dan kunnen gaan rotten. Wanneer er bruine randjes aan het blad ontstaan is het tijd om te verpotten. Zet deze Baby het liefst op een lichte plek, maar niet in de volle zon. Wanneer je de Alocasia Zebrina (baby) teveel water geeft zal deze kleine druppeltjes vocht aan de bladeren krijgen. Let goed op, want dat zorgt voor vlekken op je houten vloer of tafel.

22 juni 2023Zebrina are definitively not easy caring. Especially when baby. It lost one of the two leaves and I was very worried. But finally, the other is growing very fast and healthy so I guess it was for the best. So be patient with this baby Z !

28 maart 2023I made a big order from plnts. All plants were amazing and in the perfect conditions but only one was damaged! It was zebrina. I contacted the customer service and they quickly gave me refund for zebrina. Even if it was damaged I really appreciated the quality of all other plants and their service. So I really recommend Plnts shop :)

06 oktober 2022He came in with 3 leaves, healthy. The smaller leaf unfortunately had cracked a bit from the stem, but I fixed it with a straw that I cut of a piece of and slit it in the middle. Now the leaf is standing straight. Also, there was no pot, just a rapper around. Overall I’m very very happy with the plant. He looks amazing.

25 februari 2021It arrived with three leaves. The little one died soon. We got them, I think in November. Also my cat bite into the biggest leave... Now, in February 2021 I think there's a new leave coming up. Should be fine, I heard alocasia normally rest during winter.

16 november 2020Such a pretty plant. Came with 3 leaves and at first looked a little sad, but a bit of water and light fixed it :) Beautiful healthy roots (except they grew through the plastic wrapping so I hope it can decmpose in time)
