The Monstera Deliciosa originates from Mexico and is nicknamed the "Hole plant". The Deliciosa is good at purifying the air but is slightly poisonous for pets.

The Monstera Deliciosa is easy to please- a big splash of water once a week is enough, and she’s happiest if you let the soil dry out just a little in between waterings. Like all other tropical plants she likes it when you water her leaves regularly with a plant sprayer. When placed in a bright, sunny spot the Monstera can grow quickly, so be careful- before she becomes top-heavy it is advisable to guide her by placing a moss pole. You can then carefully tie a number of stems to this, so the growth will be fuller and even bigger. If she's standing in a dark place she will grow more slowly and produce smaller leaves.
