She loves moist soil and bright, indirect sunlight. She is a true animal friend and has great air-purifying qualities. Zamioculcas zamiifolia (ZZ Plant) The Zamioculcas zamiifolia, popularly known as the ZZ Plant, is a tough, almost indestructible lady with thick, shiny leaves. She is drought tolerant and accepts most lightning conditions. One could argue that she actually thrives on neglect and just wants to be left alone. The Zamioculas is mildly poisonous, so keep your pets away from her too. Sansevieria 'Fernwood Mikado' The Fernwood Mikado is a strong and compact hybrid snake plant. This tough but elegant lady has tubular, dark green leaves with a lighter green snake-print striping. The Sansevieria is almost indestructible. She is drought tolerant and thrives in indirect light.
